In 2009 I was a postdoc in Roald Hoffmann's group. Neil regularly attended Roald's group meetings and co-advised a few people in the group (including myself). It was wonderful that a physicist was learning chemistry! I had the pleasure and fortune to discuss the results of my calculations with Neil privately, and learned so much from the interaction.
