Postdoctoral Research Associate at CeSMEC
The Center for the Study of Matter at Extreme Conditions and the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Florida International University are seeking candidates to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. The successful candidate is expected to conduct material research in the area of energy (hydrogen) storage materials and/or Earth’s mantle/core minerals under high pressures and temperatures. A candidate with strong chemistry background is desired. Experiences with diamond anvil cell and/or multi-anvil press, and in-situ high-pressure x-ray study are preferred.

In conjunction with well equipped materials research centers, CeSMEC and MME department have established long-term research program in studies of matter at extreme conditions.
