Changqing Jin Professor Changqing Jin is team leader of High Pressure Research at Institute of Physics in Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOPCAS); a joint professor at School of Physical Science, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. He focuses on research of New Materials by Design & Physics at Synergetic High Pressures. He received PhD from IOPCAS in 1991. He was doing Post Doc, visiting research in Japan, France & USA, respectively before joining IOPCAS as faculty. He received the Award on discovery of Cu12(n-1)n superconducting homologous series of SRL/ISTEC, Japan in 1993, the Distinguished Youth Fund in 1997 & the Innovation Team Project in 2019 of National Science Foundation of China, the Prize for Condensed Matter Physics of Chinese Physics Society in 2015, the Outstanding Science & Technology Achievement Team Prize of CAS in 2011, the State Award on Nature Science Research in 2016, the First Class Prize of Chinese Materials Research Society in 2018 & 2023 etc. He is elected Fellow of European Academy of Sciences(2024), Member of European Academy of Sciences & Arts(2024). Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science(2021), Fellow of Institute of Physics of UK(2016), Fellow of American Physics Society(2014). He is author or coauthors of more than 300 peer reviewed papers with more than 60 published in Nature/Science or sister Journals, PNAS, JACS/PRL etc. He was elected AIRAPT ExC member in 2013, Secretary in 2019, Vice President in 2023.
