The 2025 AIRAPT Bridgman Award will be presented to Professor Renata Wentzcovitch.

Professor Wentzcovitch is Professor of Materials Science and Applied Physics and Professor of Earth and Environmental Science at Columbia University.

Professor Wentzcovitch was selected in recognition of her transformative contributions to materials simulations at high pressures and temperatures.

The Selection Committee for the 2025 Bridgman Award was chaired by Professor Tetsuo Irifune, immediately past recipient of the Bridgman Award (2021).

The Award Ceremony, including the winner's Oral Presentation, will take place at the 29th AIRAPT Conference in Matsuyama, Japan.
