The Static High Pressure Research Group in the Department of Chemistry and the Institute for Shock Physics at Washington State University has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate. This position requires an outstanding experimental scientist to conduct high-pressure and materials research activities, utilizing state-of-the-art laser spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction and spectroscopy, and static high-pressure technologies at the WSU, as well as at national synchrotron and other user facilities. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual, who has the ability and interest to pursue challenging, interdisciplinary problems in a fast paced research environment.
