Valentín García Baonza: Valentín García Baonza

Valentín García Baonza is Full Professor in Physical Chemistry at the University Complutense of Madrid. He is specialist in the study of matter under extreme conditions using both thermodynamic and spectroscopic methods. He is coordinator and co-founder of the Spanish High-Pressure Consortium MALTA-Consolider. He received the EHPRG Award in 1999 and was elected member of the EHPRG Commmittee during the periods 2002-2004 and 2008-2010. He was Chairman of the Joint 25th AIRAPT and 53rd EHPRG International Conference in Madrid, 2015, where he was elected Member of the AIRAPT Executive Committee. E-mail: vgbaonza@quim.ucm.es .
