[20121123] Lectureship in Theoretical/Computational Physics at Edinburgh University

The School of Physics & Astronomy at The University of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a full time lecturer in Theoretical or Computational Condensed Matter Physics. This is NOT a fixed-term appointment, but a full-time, open-ended contract.

We seek to strengthen our current research in one of:

* Physics of materials, including materials under extreme conditions of pressure, shock and irradiation
* Quantum Ordering and strongly correlated electron physics

The appointee will have the opportunity to work closely with other
members of the School of Physics and Astronomy in the University's
Centre for Science at Extreme Conditions.
