Professor G. G. N. Angilella is Associate Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Catania, Italy. He received his PhD in Physics from the University of Catania, Italy. His research interests include condensed matter theory, superconductivity, graphene, alkali metals under pressure. He received the EHPRG Award in 2003 and the SIF Award in 1999. He was elected Chairman of the EHPRG for the period 2009-2012 and Secretary of the AIRAPT for the period 2007-2013.
