[20140701] Tenure-track professorships at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Harvard University, USA

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University (USA) seeks to appoint two tenure-track professors in solid Earth geosciences, with an emphasis on the geochemistry and geophysics of the Earth’s crust and interior. The appointments are expected to begin on July 1, 2014. A doctorate in Earth Sciences or related discipline is required at the time the appointment begins. Successful applicants will be expected to establish an innovative and internationally distinguished research program that contributes to the vibrant intellectual community within the department. They will also be expected to demonstrate excellence and commitment to teaching, and be responsible for developing and teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
