James S. Schilling
Professor James S. (Jim) Schilling is Professor of Physics Emeritus at Washington University in St. Louis, USA, and Guest Professor at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He received his PhD in 1969 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. His research interests include superconductivity and magnetism at high pressures. He is Fellow of the American Physical Society. Professor Schilling was elected Treasurer of AIRAPT for the period 2007-2013, and Member of the AIRAPT Executive Committee in 2013. He served as Vice-President of AIRAPT from 2015 to 2019 and was elected President in 2019. He is now an Ex-officio Member of the AIRAPT Executive Committee. E-mail: jss@wuphys.wustl.edu.
